As I take my kids on my travels for my job, I am beginning to discover that I have a responsibility to other parents to help them. I even find myself having more of a social conscience since I am blogging to a global community. If Oprah says that one person can make a huge difference by not choosing paper or plastic at the grocery store, imagine what a difference we could ALL make if we chose to recycle towels in the hotel room for a few nights. We'd save so much water! I am surprised by the large numbers of properties who are conscious that they play such a huge role in conservation.

As I search for new topics, travel with kids takes on a whole new meaning. We are also going to try a Voluntourism vacation to give back to the community while on a vacation. The Michaels Family will be cleaning up a beach somewhere in Florida...Stay tuned!
